Solutions to Big Problems
44Solutions to Big Problems - No PC or Pandering
This blog will answer big questions of our day with common sense solutions. The solutions presented will consciously avoid political correctness, or pandering to any group or ideology.
One absolute rule for myself and others that engage with 'Solutions': We will ALWAYS be very respectful, civil, and polite. This is not a blog for insults but for a clear and direct presentation of common sense solutions to big problems that do not yield to restrictions of what is PC or popular at the moment, either in popular culture or in any ideology or belief system.
Lets start with the whole discussion on being 'GREEN', Global Warming, ecological future of the planet:
Basic Problem/Challenge: How can we avoid major harm to our planet caused by humans?
Basic Cause of Problem/Challenge: Too many people.
Solution: Stabilize human population as soon as possible.
The most direct and obvious way of reducing the negative 'footprint,' carbon or otherwise, of humans on the planet is to reduce the number of feet. Attempts to mitigation of the harmful effects of each human on the Earth is of some use, but will only nibble at the edges of the basic problem, and as the population increases, the 'improvements' will be swamped into irrelevance by all the additional feet.
Anyone that wants to be taken seriously regarding 'going Green', 'saving the planet', reducing 'carbon footprint', conservation, protecting the planet, etc., absolutely MUST include in their discussion and solutions the issue of population increase and its effects. Remarkably, Noble laureut Al Gore does not even touch on the basic problem, or its possible solution, in his presentations on Global Warming including in the film 'An Inconvenient Truth.'
